On May 19, 2021, NYS Governor Cuomo announced new guidelines for Child Care Centers regarding mask mandates for children 2 years of age. When COVID-19 started daycare held us together to help working parents get by, and we are forever grateful. They are now after 14 months, requiring masks to be worn by all children inside a day care facility sometimes upwards of 10-12 hours a day, except when eating, drinking, swimming. This is beyond ridiculous! Regardless of age of children, kids should NOT be wearing masks! especially 2 year old babies! SCIENTIFIC evidence shows masks do more HARM than good in children mentally and physically and now especially in this SUMMER HEAT, its child abuse!
This is NOT ok, It should be a CHOICE and not forced! We need to stand together to fight for our Children! The time is NOW!
